Hiring For Reach Truck Operator

We are looking for a skilled Reach Truck Operator to join our team in Gambia. The operator will be responsible for safely operating a reach truck to handle materials within the warehouse. This is a full-time position requiring experience in forklift operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Operate Reach Truck:** Safely drive and operate the reach truck to move, lift, and stack materials as needed. This involves navigating through aisles to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

- **Load and Unload Goods:** Load and unload products from delivery trucks and storage areas, ensuring careful handling to avoid damage.

- **Warehouse Organization:** Maintain an organized workspace by stacking products in designated areas. Proper organization helps improve efficiency and safety in operations.

- **Perform Safety Checks:** Regularly inspect the reach truck for any mechanical issues, ensuring it is in safe working condition before operating.

- **Document Inventory:** Keep accurate records of goods moved within the warehouse. Documenting movements aids in inventory management.

- **Follow Safety Protocols:** Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

- Candidates should have at least 6 to 12 years of experience operating reach trucks or similar forklifts.

- A minimum educational qualification of 12th pass is necessary.

- Applicants must be physically fit and able to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and maneuvering in tight spaces.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to ensure accurate inventory management.

- A valid forklift operator certification is preferred to demonstrate proficiency in operating heavy machinery.

- Must be a male applicant as per company policy, able to work full-time from the office in Gambia.
