Quantity Surveyor

amoura consol pty ltd is an australian-based project management company. we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced construction estimator to join our team.

ideally you would possess formal training and experience as a construction estimator as well as contractual management ability.

to be successful in this role you need to be:

what you will do:

• preparing detailed estimates/quotations for residential and commercial building using internal software systems

• prepare and coordinate high quality and accurate tender proposals and submissions

• source and collate supplier and contractor quotes

• develop relationships with clients, designers, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors

• review, develop and maintain accurate and up to date cost information

• liaise with project teams and prepare project schedules

• mentor and grow other estimators to be the best they can be

• preparation of construction budgets

• help continually improve our estimating processes and systems

• qualifications

• bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience

• 1 - 2 years experience in the construction industry

• excellent written and verbal communication skills
