key responsibilities:

testing and inspection: perform routine and non-routine inspections, tests, and analyses on materials, components, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

documentation and reporting: record and maintain accurate test results, including data entry, documentation, and reporting of any discrepancies or failures to the qc manager.

calibration and maintenance: ensure that all testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly. report any malfunctioning equipment and arrange for necessary repairs or replacements.

compliance monitoring: ensure all qc processes comply with company procedures and regulatory requirements. maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

root cause analysis: in the event of product failures, perform root cause analysis and work with the team to propose corrective actions.

sampling and audits: collect samples for testing from raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. participate in internal and external quality audits as needed.

process improvement: work closely with the production and engineering teams to suggest improvements or adjustments to processes and products based on quality feedback.

safety and cleanliness: maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

skills & qualifications:

education: associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

experience: previous experience in a qc or laboratory environment is preferred.

knowledge: strong understanding of quality control standards, procedures, and industry regulations.

technical skills: proficiency in using quality testing equipment, tools, and software for documentation and reporting.
