we are seeking a senior qa tester to join our dynamic team. the ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing. you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through rigorous testing methodologies, both manual and automated.

responsibilities:

- develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing such as functional, gui, integration, and regression.

- execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report findings.

- collaborate with the development team to identify, log, and prioritize defects.

- lead the automation strategy and efforts, including framework selection, scripting, and maintenance.

- mentor junior qa testers in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

- participate in agile ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- maintain documentation for all qa processes and test cases.

technical skills:

- strong experience in manual testing methodologies.

- proficiency in automated testing tools like selenium, junit, testng, or similar.

- familiarity with scripting languages like python, javascript, or ruby.

- experience with api testing tools like postman or soapui.

- proficient understanding of git version control.

- familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and tools like jenkins or gitlab ci.

- experience with bug-tracking tools like jira or bugzilla.
