required skills & qualifications: bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of professional experience as an automation engineer or in a similar role focusing on automation. expert-level proficiency in core python programming, including strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and common python libraries. extensive experience with linux operating systems, including: deep understanding of linux command-line interface (cli) and shell scripting (bash, shell). experience with system administration, networking, and security concepts in linux. familiarity with various linux distributions (., ubuntu, centos, red hat). proven experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks. experience with version control systems, particularly git. familiarity with ci/cd concepts and tools (., jenkins, gitlab ci, azure devops, github actions). strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. additional information - note for approver - must have skills python shell azure good to have skills
