position overview :

this is a critical position with complete responsibility for a wide range of tech functional areas. the ideal candidate will be.

extremely sharp and seasoned manager with a successful stint at a software product company

the candidate will need to be to be extremely quick on the uptake with an ability to zoom into and out of specific details with agility.

responsibilities :

this is a senior position with a wide range of workstreams to manage. broadly there are the following functional groups:

business analysis:

-participate in various cross-functional team meetings.

-understand product requirements and create documentation.

-iterate and ensure all approved requirements are part of the product backlog.

planning product development:

-create sprints from a backlog of requirements.

-define the scope of each feature included in a sprint.

-create wbs and plan each activity of a sprint.

-determine the effort required for each feature.

-prepare a schedule for the entire sprint.

proactive management and control of development:

-keep a close track of each activity and task item.

-prepare regular communication and status reports to be shared with stake holders

-identify risk areas and take corrective actions to mitigate them.

operations management

-participate in regular meetings with sales team.

-plan onboarding of new clients.

-ensure all activities related to client onboarding are adhered to in a strict time-bound manner.

-oversee checkpoints in the process to ensure % accuracy in getting client data migrated.

azure infrastructure management

-overall responsibility of azure infrastructure and services.

-ensure that the cloudops team works strictly in accordance with set processes.

-set up and periodically review azure alerts and monitoring tools.

-review monthly costs and ensure cost-efficient operation.

-interact with partners/vendors for various outsourced services like azure support, security, etc.
