quality control (ipqa chemist/supervisor /technician)
job summary
the in process quality control (ipqc) technician /super visor /chemist is responsible for leading day-to-day quality control in production ensuring that production quality metrics are met. the ipqc technician will focus on employee training, process controls and defect prevention typically leading a team of 6-10 employees.
responsibilities and essential functions
• production line setup
o tool / equipment setup verification .
•
o sop setup and verification
o material setup verification
o ensure operators are certified for respective roles
• monitor quality of output
o identify issues / corrective actions on a real-time basis
o ensure corrective actions are completed on a timely basis
o first article inspection (fai) for each new product run
• issue resolution
manage/escalate issues impactingteam and communicate to:
o peer ipqc technicians
o lead
o supervisor
• continuous improvement / 5s leadership
work with extended team to identify and execute process improvements / 5s actions:

education
• high school diploma or higher in a related discipline and/or equivalent related work experience.

• experience with microsoft office tools (outlook, excel, and word) .
