Looking For Production Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Engineer, you will be the backbone of our shop-floor operations, bridging technical execution with stringent quality control. You will take direct ownership of production schedules, machine optimization (Traub, CNC, and Cold Forging), and end-to-end quality assurance under ISO frameworks. This is not a desk job; we need an active, on-the-floor leader who can drive efficiency, mentor shop-floor teams, and ensure zero-defect dispatches.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management: Drive daily production schedules across cold forging headers, Traub automats, and CNC/VMC machining centers to ensure 95%+ schedule fulfillment.

Process Optimization: Oversee critical secondary operations including thread rolling, surface grinding, and precision drilling.

Quality Assurance & Compliance: Spearhead online checking, in-process quality audits, and final dimensional inspections. Maintain rigorous compliance with ISO and automotive quality standards.

Downtime & Resource Control: Minimize machine downtime, optimize raw material utilization, and manage worker allocation effectively.

Technical Leadership: Troubleshoot shop-floor bottlenecks, mentor junior staff and machine operators, and uphold high standards of industrial safety and discipline.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on shop-floor experience specifically within the automotive fastener or precision engineering sector.

Technical Mastery: Proven, practical expertise in operating and managing Traub automats, CNC machines, and Cold Forging equipment.

Quality Frameworks: Strong, working knowledge of ISO standards, PPAP/APQP principles, and advanced shop-floor metrology/inspection tools.

Mindset: Highly accountable, action-oriented, and capable of driving strict productivity benchmarks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
