Ability to prepare Process Design Basis, Equipment List, Process Flow Diagram, P&ID; Understanding of basics of Instrumentations and Process Automation; Experience of handling process simulations software (preferably Aspen Hysys) and standard operating procedures; Having experience of sizing of shell & tube type Heat Exchanger through HTRI and manually; Ability to perform pressure drop calculation and hydraulic calculation (pump head calculation, NPSH etc.) through standard software or manually, Ability to prepare Process Data Sheet of Pumps, Vessels, Heat Exchangers and other major Process Equipment; Knowledge about various types of safety valve and their sizing criteria; Experience working with AutoCAD; Understanding of safety studies . HAZOP / HAZID; Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
