key responsibilities

instruction and lesson planning:

develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the cbse curriculum objectives.

instruct students in core subjects such as english, hindi, mathematics, science, and social studies using diverse teaching methods, including educational technology.

adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs, interests, and learning styles (differentiated instruction).

assessment and evaluation:

prepare, administer, and grade various assessments, tests, and assignments to evaluate students' academic progress and performance.

maintain accurate, complete, and current records of students' progress and development.

provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.

classroom management and environment:

establish and enforce rules of behavior and procedures to ensure a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment.

manage student behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement methods.

care for the classroom and ensure it is attractively decorated and organized to facilitate learning.

communication and collaboration:

communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, performance, and any concerns, including leading parent-teacher meetings.

collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to develop the curriculum, plan activities, and enhance the overall educational experience.

participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.

pastoral care and development:

foster positive relationships with students, acting as a mentor and role model.
