Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter Trainer to train students and job seekers in practical pipe fitting skills. The trainer will be responsible for classroom theory, workshop practical training, safety practices, and preparing candidates for industrial and overseas job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct practical and theoretical Pipe Fitting training.

Teach pipe cutting, fitting, alignment, installation and maintenance.

Train candidates in reading pipe drawings, isometric drawings and measurements.

Demonstrate pipe fabrication, flange fitting, valve installation and supports.

Train candidates in proper use of hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.

Teach basic industrial piping standards and work procedures.

Provide hands-on workshop training and practical demonstrations.

Maintain discipline, attendance and training records.

Evaluate candidates through practical tests and assessments.

Follow and teach proper workplace health & safety procedures.

Prepare candidates for industrial, construction and overseas employment requirements.

Required Skills

Strong practical knowledge of pipe fitting and fabrication.

Ability to teach beginners as well as experienced candidates.

Knowledge of pipe tools, fittings, valves, flanges and supports.

Ability to read basic piping/isometric drawings.

Good communication and teaching skills.

Practical, disciplined and safety-focused approach.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Pipe Fitting, Mechanical or related trade preferred.

Relevant industrial experience will be considered.

Experience

5+ years of practical pipe fitting experience preferred.

Training/teaching experience will be an advantage.

Salary

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and practical skills.
