Walk-in Picker & Packer (Fresher)

As a Picker & Packer, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations in Chennai. You will be responsible for gathering products and preparing them for shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Picking: Select items from inventory according to the order list, ensuring the correct quantity and type, to fulfill customer orders accurately.

- Packing Orders: Carefully package picked items into boxes or containers, ensuring they are secure for shipping and minimising damage during transit.

- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels by reporting low stock items and helping to organize the warehouse for easy access to products.

- Quality Control: Check items for any damages or defects before packing, ensuring that only quality products are shipped to customers.

- Documentation: Fill out shipping and order forms accurately to maintain records and ensure orders are processed smoothly.

- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and support efficient warehouse workflows.

Required Skills and Expectations:

- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure orders are correctly picked and packed.

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move items safely, as the role may involve standing for long periods and performing manual tasks.
