PHP Wordpress Developer

We are seeking WordPress Developers responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and customize plugins.

Responsibilities and Duties

1- Establish best practices in coding and architecture.

2- Clean and thorough coding with detailed understanding of business logic, with developer level testing.

3- Client communication for assigned tasks, mostly via /Slack chat (sometimes verbal communication over the phone may be required).

4- Estimate and track projects using agile methodologies.

5- Daily reporting to manager via in-house reporting tool.

6- Writing functional docs, requirement docs, preparing flowcharts, ER diagram or any other project documentation necessary.

7- Key Skills: WordPress, PHP, COREPHP

Required Experience and Qualifications:

1- Demonstrated Ability in multiple WordPress plugin and template hierarchy

2- Has installed MySQL and done some basic configuration (. Create a user and assigned them to a DB, set up a slow query log).

3- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

4- Basic knowledge of Shopify

5- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WordPress

6- Ability in Optimizing SQL queries for performance in MySQL

7- Knowledge of PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, etc.) a plus.
