**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Blood Collection:** Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples for tests, ensuring correct techniques and protocols are followed.

- **Patient Interaction:** Greet patients warmly and explain the blood collection process to reduce anxiety and build trust.

- **Sample Handling:** Label and handle blood samples accurately to avoid mix-ups and ensure proper storage and transport using the required protocols.

- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate records of blood collections and patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

- **Equipment Maintenance:** Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment and ensure it is sterile and in good working condition.

- **Hygiene Practices:** Follow strict hygiene practices and safety protocols to protect both patients and staff from infection.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

Candidates should have completed their 12th grade and possess 1 to 2 years of experience in phlebotomy. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients. A calm and compassionate demeanor is necessary to alleviate patient fears. Candidates should also have a good understanding of safety and hygiene protocols. Attention to detail is crucial for accurate sample collection and record-keeping.
