· ensuring that the supply of medicines is within the law.

· ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.

· advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.

· collaborate with physicians to discuss potential incompatibility issues with patient prescriptions

· maintain accurate inventory of medications

· work with the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace

· assist patients in solving problems, such as identifying old medication or finding an over-the-counter solution to minor health issues

· medication should only be issued on receiving a receipt for the same

· maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories
