Pharmacist - Full Time

As a Pharmacist at Lotus Polyclinic, you will:

- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely

- Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions

- Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry management

- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff regarding prescriptions

- Ensure compliance with Drug Control and Pharmacy Council regulations

- Manage billing, records, and pharmacy documentation

- Provide OTC medication guidance and basic health advice

- Maintain hygiene, storage standards, and cold-chain protocols

- Support patient-centric service and ethical pharmacy practice

Requirements:

- m / m with valid Pharmacy Council Registration

- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy (freshers may apply)

- Strong knowledge of prescription handling and drug safety

- Good communication skills in Tamil & English

- Basic computer and billing software knowledge

- Ability to work in shifts and weekends

- Professional attitude and patient-care mindset

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with clinic or hospital pharmacy setup

- Knowledge of inventory management systems

- Familiarity with generic medicines and brand alternatives

- Customer service & counselling skills
