we are seeking a dedicated and experienced pgt english teacher to join our team at a cbse school sangrur punjab in india. the ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in english literature and language.

responsibilities

develop and implement engaging lesson plans for higher secondary students.

teach english literature, language, and grammar to students in accordance with the cbse curriculum.

assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.

provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning.

encourage critical thinking and facilitate discussions in the classroom.

organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to english language and literature.

maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

skills and qualifications

master's degree in english or a related field.

bachelor's degree in education (.) is preferred.

5-6 years of teaching experience in a cbse school or similar educational institution.

strong understanding of the cbse curriculum and assessment practices.

excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.

proficiency in using technology and digital resources for teaching and learning.
