Orthopaedic Surgeon (5-10 Years)

we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced consultant orthopedician specializing in arthroscopic surgery to join our renowned healthcare facility in doha, qatar. the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in government or institutional settings, with expertise in arthroscopy focused on extremities. the role offers a competitive salary package, with substantial incentives based on surgical procedures. preference will be given to candidates of indian nationality, particularly malayali professionals.

key responsibilities:

1. surgical expertise:

o perform advanced arthroscopic surgeries, particularly focusing on extremities such as shoulders, knees, elbows, and ankles.

o conduct minimally invasive procedures for sports injuries, ligament repairs, meniscus tears, and joint preservation.

o handle complex cases involving fractures, dislocations, and degenerative joint conditions.

2. patient care & treatment planning:

o provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic injuries and conditions.

o develop personalized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

o conduct follow-up assessments to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

3. pre- and post-operative management:

o coordinate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and physical therapists to ensure seamless patient care.

o guide patients through pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery plans, including physiotherapy.

4. multidisciplinary collaboration:

o work closely with the orthopedic team and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

o participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and continuous medical education sessions.

5. documentation & reporting:

o maintain comprehensive records of patient assessments, surgical interventions, and follow-up progress.
