• installation and configuration of oracle database, asm, rac.

dba activities.

• raw disk configuration and management (mapping raw space to diskgroup).

• database load analysis and issue fixing.

• asm management.

• configuration of adg/dg.

• ensuring dr is in sync with dc.

• dr failover/switchover

• pfile and spfile management with proper optimized parameter configuration.

• performance analysis and performance tuning.

• backup and restore management using rman utility.

• database and grid infrastructure upgrade.

• patch management.

• issue analysis and fixing the same with help from oracle support.

• database monitoring job automation.

• any other dba activities in order to fix any issues to make sure 24x7 uptime of

databases (both dr and dc)

• sound knowledge of virtualization and os environment (rhel and windows)

dependencies for oracle. coordination with os/virtualization support team for

faster resolution.

 participate in management, prioritization, minor enhancements / fix activities, problem management, stability analysis, etc

 coordination with os/virtualization support team for faster resolution in case of critical issues.

 identifying problems in advance and looking for continuous service improvements
