We are looking for a dedicated Optometrist to join our team in Kuwait. In this full-time role, you will provide essential eye care services and help patients maintain their vision health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Eye Examinations: Perform comprehensive eye tests to assess vision, check for eye diseases, and determine the right prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses.
- Diagnose Eye Conditions: Identify conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders through thorough evaluations and tests.
- Prescribe Corrective Lenses: Provide accurate prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate Patients: Inform patients about eye health, proper lens care, and preventive measures to maintain good vision.
- Monitor Patient Progress: Follow up with patients to assess the effectiveness of corrective lenses and make necessary adjustments to prescriptions.
- Maintain Patient Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of patient exams and treatment plans for ongoing care.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or a related field. A minimum of 1-7 years of experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining medical terminology clearly to patients. You should have a registered license to practice optometry in Kuwait and a good understanding of the latest eye care technologies and techniques. Candidates must also be compassionate and attentive to patient needs, making them feel comfortable throughout their eye care experience.
