Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-oriented Optometrist to join our eye care team in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision problems, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide exceptional patient care. This role supports our mission to deliver high-quality eye care and enhance the visual health of our community.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough eye examinations, including refraction, ocular motility, and binocular vision assessment.

Diagnose and manage common eye conditions; identify signs of ocular disease and refer to a ophthalmologist when needed.

Prescribe and fit spectacles and contact lenses; advise on lens types, coatings, and lens care.

Counsel patients on eye health, vision correction options, and treatment plans.

Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and exam findings.

Stay updated with advancements in optometry and optical products; assist with product recommendations.

Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient experiences.

Participate in patient education, community outreach, and awareness programs as needed.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Optometry (m) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) from a recognized institution.

Valid optometry license/registration to practice in Gujarat.

Clinical experience in eye examinations, refraction, and dispensing spectacles.

Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and patient management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with contact lens fittings, pediatric optometry, or low-vision assessments.

Knowledge of optical products, frame trends, and lens technologies.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
