job responsibilities:

patient care responsibilities

? plan and provide nursing care to patients

? complete the initial nursing assessment and all emergency orders as given by the doctor

? educate the patient and relatives on all relevant rules and regulations

? to obtain and send investigation samples to the lab and inform doctor about the reports

? to perform all the basic nursing procedures for patient care activities

? safe transfers to / from various patient care areas

? rounds with consultants

? patient file documentation without error

? computer entries through system

ward duties

? to ensure that the ward is clean and tidy

? manage the nursing station and supervise juniors and housekeeping staff

? linen management in wards

? managing the drug cupboards, stock checking, checking crash cart

? supervision of biomedical waste

? other ward activities

the nurse should be willing to work in any area / unit of the hospital handling covid /

non-covid patients as per the need of the hospital and no resistance to the same shall be entertained.
