Job Description

1. Design and implement computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and virtual private networks (VPNs).

2. Configure and maintain network hardware and software components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

3. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to identify and resolve problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum network availability.

4. Conduct regular network assessments and capacity planning to anticipate future network requirements and propose necessary upgrades or modifications.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security specialists, and software developers, to ensure network compatibility and seamless integration with other IT systems.

6. Implement network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and virtual private networks (VPNs), to protect the network from unauthorized access and potential threats.

7. Perform network maintenance tasks, including firmware upgrades, patch management, and network device configuration backups.

8. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to maintain an up-to- date knowledge base and enable efficient network management.

9. Stay up to date with emerging network technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance network performance and security.

10. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing network-related issues and assisting with network connectivity, protocols, and configurations
