At FREYA we are inspired by the Norse goddess Freya (FRE-YA). Goddess of love, pregnancy, and childbirth, she has been the protector of women and children through the ages. We aim to provide care for our patients in a way that is designed to take away their worries and fears about being in an institution. There is increasing realisation that a big part of treatment lies in reducing the stress and uncertainties patients associate with being in a hospital. This has made us ensure that we provide a cocoon where the highest level of medical care is aligned with the most soothing and caring environment possible.
