All roles are design-focused studio positions, involving close internal collaboration across sales and factory teams.
Role Overview
As a Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer, you will be responsible for developing kitchen and wardrobe designs from concept stage through production-ready documentation. Depending on experience, you may contribute to or lead design development, oversee detailing quality, and support studio-wide design standards.
Designers at FR work on live residential projects and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and clarity at every stage of the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design modular kitchens and wardrobes for residential and commercial projects
- Develop space plans and layouts based on project briefs
- Produce technical drawings and 3D visualisations
- Create design presentations, material palettes, and mood boards
- Coordinate internally with sales teams for design inputs and revisions
- Work closely with factory teams to resolve detailing and drawings
- Research materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories
- Maintain design accuracy across revisions and approvals
- Contribute to improving internal design systems and workflows
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in modular kitchen and wardrobe design
- Strong understanding of space planning, detailing, and modular systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max
- Ability to manage multiple projects and varying levels of responsibility
- Experience working on premium residential projects is preferred
- Clear communication and presentation skills
