Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects.

Migrate mailboxes from on-premises Exchange or other email platforms to Exchange Online.

Perform migrations of SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and file shares to Microsoft 365.

Configure and manage Microsoft 365 tenant environments.

Conduct pre-migration assessments, readiness checks, and migration planning activities.

Implement identity management solutions using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Azure AD Connect, and Single Sign-On (SSO).

Monitor migration activities and troubleshoot issues related to data, permissions, and connectivity.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout migration projects.

Create migration documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Collaborate with project managers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and end users.

Provide post-migration support and user adoption assistance.

Stay updated on Microsoft 365 technologies, best practices, and migration methodologies.
