key responsibilities:

drafting and design: create detailed technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (mep) systems using cad software.

coordination: collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate mep systems into building designs.

compliance: ensure designs meet building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.

documentation: maintain accurate and up-to-date drawings and plans throughout the project lifecycle.

quality control: perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and identify potential design issues.

site visits: occasionally visit construction sites to verify installations and resolve issues.

qualifications:

education: diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical,

technical skills: proficiency in cad software (autocad, revit).

knowledge: strong understanding of mep systems.

detail-oriented: ability to produce precise and accurate technical drawings.

problem-solving: aptitude for identifying and addressing design issues.

communication: effective communication skills for collaborating with project stakeholders.

experience: previous experience in mep drafting or a related role is preferred. certifications in cad software or mep design are advantageous.
