MEP Design Engineer

Job Description:

€¢ Calculation of Power demand as per industrial bench marking

€¢ Preparation of Single line Diagrams (SLD)

€¢ Preparation of Substation General arrangement drawing equipment layout for Substations both AIS and GIS

€¢ Transformer sizing, cable sizing, breaker sizing, capacitor bank sizing for MV and LV system

€¢ LV and MV cable routing

€¢ Lightning protection and earthing design for substations and buildings.

€¢ Lighting calculation, small power design, cable racking, installation details for the Electrical services.

€¢ Cable racking design.

€¢ AC/DC schematic preparation for substation.

€¢ Clash detection and co-ordination with other Utilities

€¢ Experience in preparation of Basis of design, design report for the projects.

€¢ Detailed knowledge of power equipment such as switchgear, protective relays, breakers,

transformers, motors, and generators is required

Responsibilities

Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are a must,

including the capability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams. Candidate

must have good oral and written communication skills, be willing to travel abroad for short and long term, and

work successfully in a customer focused, project-oriented environment.

Mandatory Requirements: -

€¢ Bachelor€™s degree in electrical engineering with 1-3 years of relevant industrial experience

€¢ Sound knowledge on software like Lighting Reality, Dialux / Relux, CAD software

€¢ Good knowledge on BS standards and International standards.

€¢ As per health and safety and environmental requirement carry out the design
