Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring continuous and efficient mechanical operation of all utility equipments, forging and machining of gear manufacturing equipment. This includes preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machines such as forging presses, hammers, gear hobbing/shaping machines, heat treatment furnaces, Induction heaters and induction hardening machines, CNC machines, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of forging presses (mechanical/hydraulic), hammers, induction heaters, and trimming machines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot gear manufacturing machines including mechanical gear hobbing, CNC gear hobbing and skiving machines, gun drilling and grinding machines.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs of CNC operated machines (turning, HMC, VMC machines), used in machining of gears.
• Maintain hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and lubrication systems across all machinery.
• Ensure alignment, balancing, and mechanical integrity of rotating equipment (., motors, gearboxes, spindles).
• Diagnose root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation of machine maintenance, spares usage, and service logs.
• Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime and plan shutdowns effectively.
• Monitor the condition of equipment using vibration analysis, temperature checks, and oil analysis where applicable.
