We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a prominent steel plant. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment within the steel plant. You will play a crucial role in driving productivity, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the steel plant.

Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of mechanical systems and identify potential issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality control, to improve process efficiency and productivity.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.

Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for equipment upgrades or replacements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, reports, and manuals.

Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and operators.

Stay updated with advancements in mechanical engineering and industry best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence.
