Mechanical Engineer (Male)

Foundry & Melting Operations

Execute melting schedules using induction furnaces based on daily production plans.

Supervise pouring processes ensuring correct temperatures and inoculation techniques for SG and Grey iron.

Manage molding lines (hand molding, shell molding, or high-pressure lines) to minimize casting defects.

Optimize core shop activities to ensure continuous supply to the molding line.

Machining Shop Management

Oversee CNC and VMC machining operations for raw castings.

Optimize cycle times and cutting parameters to improve machining efficiency.

Coordinate tooling changes and supervise machine setup for different component variants.

Minimize component rejection during machining by troubleshooting process variations.

Process Planning & Efficiency

Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and SMED to reduce waste and downtime.

Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) across the foundry and machine shop.

Collaborate with maintenance to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize breakdowns.

Balance line workflows to eliminate production bottlenecks between casting and machining.

Safety & Resource Management

Enforce PPE compliance and strict safety protocols for high-temperature melt zones.

Manage shop-floor labor allocations across different shifts to meet delivery timelines.

Track material consumption including scrap metal, ferroalloys, and tooling inserts.
