our client is a fast-growing company focused on importing premium liquor products and building private-label alcohol brands across east africa and is seeking to hire a marketing and brand building manager.

position: marketing and brand building manager.

job description / responsibilities

• lead the launch of private label liquor brands (vodka, gin, whiskey) into the east african market.

• develop and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns, including digital, retail, and field activations.

• oversee brand building strategies from ideation to execution.

• plan and manage promotional events, tastings, and nightlife marketing efforts.

• conduct consumer and competitor research to position brands effectively.

• work with sales teams to ensure alignment of brand messaging in the trade.

• manage creative teams and external agencies to produce impactful marketing material.

• ensure compliance with all relevant advertising and alcohol promotion regulations.

qualification mba in marketing or a related field

• experience in company own brand building from scratch.

• fmcg or alcohol industry is must

• familiar with gt and mt markets in africa or regional

preferred candidate

• female professional with a passion for branding and the beverage industry.

• strong experience in product launches and building new brands.

• comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

• creative, resourceful, and results-driven.

• well-versed in east african consumer behavior and promotional channels.

salary range

usd 2,500 – 2,800 (negotiable based on experience)
