Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement: Assist in designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes. Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements to reduce cycle time.
Production Support: Provide real-time technical support to the production team to resolve machine breakdowns or assembly line issues.
Documentation: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Process Flow Charts.
Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality department to monitor rejection rates and implement corrective actions (CAPA) for manufacturing defects.
Tooling & Jigs: Assist in the design and procurement of jigs, fixtures, and specialized tools required for assembly or machining.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data (OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to track performance against targets.
Required Technical Skills
Design Software: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks for reading and modifying engineering drawings.
Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles.
ERP/Systems: Familiarity with SAP or Tally for logging production entries and material consumption.
Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols on blueprints.
