Machine Shop Manager - Full Time

As a Machine Shop Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output. Your role involves managing staff, equipment, and workflows to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise Production Activities: Lead a team of machinists and operators, ensuring daily production tasks are completed on time while maintaining safety standards.

- Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain machinery, ensuring all tools are in good working order to avoid delays in production.

- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to guarantee that all parts meet the required specifications and standards.

- Workflow Management: Plan and optimize production schedules, allocating resources effectively to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.

- Staff Training and Development: Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a skilled workforce knowledgeable in machine operations and safety protocols.

- Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels of materials and parts, ensuring timely ordering and availability for continuous production.

Required Skills and Expectations:

Candidates must have a degree in , , , or , with 4 to 5 years of experience in a machine shop or a related field. Strong leadership skills are essential to manage a diverse team effectively.
