Key Responsibilities & Duties

Machine Operation & Production Execution:

Set up, calibrate, and operate assigned industrial machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job orders.

Load raw materials into machines and monitor automated manufacturing processes for smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Adjust machine settings, feeds, speeds, and controls to maintain specified tolerances and production standards.

Quality Inspection & Dimension Verification:

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and plug gauges.

Perform routine first-piece, in-process, and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.

Identify and isolate defective or out-of-tolerance components, reporting recurring quality issues to the shift supervisor.

Preventive Maintenance & Workplace Safety:

Perform basic daily preventive maintenance (TPM) on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, oil top-ups, and minor mechanical checks.

Troubleshoot minor operational glitches and coordinate with the maintenance team for major machine breakdowns.

Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to 5S principles and strictly follow personal protective equipment (PPE) and plant safety guidelines.
