roles and responsibilities:

• support existing systems that manage programs, processes and data involved in the

manufacturing process using as400 rpg.

• hands on experience on (l1/l2/l3) application support/production support

• experience in production support management processes & tools

• excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• should be able to lead team and work individually and come-up with solutions for

technical challenges based on business requirements

• able to identify problems and help and guide the team to deliver efficient and

effective solutions even beyond own tasks.

• should able to perform planning, designing & estimate

• should able to prioritize work for self & team and handle support tickets & regular

tasks (l3) appropriately

required skills:

• must have 8 + years of experience in both support and enhancement & maintenance

work

• need to have professional support & development experience in support, design

and programming with as400 rpg.

• strong understanding of native rpg.

• experience with iseries m4 very helpful.

• experience with sql, queries, web services.

• experience with edi.

• experience with showcase report writer preferred

• experience with rpgle cle and lansa for i series.
