we are looking for a skilled lab technician to perform diagnostic testing, manage laboratory operations, and support clinicians with accurate and timely results. the role demands technical proficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to hospital quality standards.

key responsibilities:

collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, swabs) following proper protocols.

perform hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and pathology tests using automated and manual methods.

operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.

ensure quality control, accuracy, and reliability of test results.

prepare reagents, maintain inventory, and manage laboratory consumables.

record, analyze, and report test results to clinicians in a timely manner.

maintain sterile techniques, infection control protocols, and biosafety standards.

assist in audits, documentation, and compliance with hospital and nabl regulations.

coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff for smooth lab operations.

key skills & competencies:

proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment handling.

strong knowledge of diagnostic testing and quality assurance.

attention to detail and accuracy in test results and reporting.

understanding of biosafety, infection control, and hospital protocols.

good communication and teamwork skills.

qualification & experience:

diploma or . in medical laboratory technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field.

hands-on experience in hospital laboratory operations preferred (1 - 3 years).

certification in laboratory techniques or clinical diagnostics is an advantage.
