maintain detailed logs of procedures, findings, and outcomes.
use lab software or lis (laboratory information systems) to input and retrieve data.
quality control & assurance
follow standard operating procedures (sops) and quality protocols.
participate in quality assurance programs and internal/external audits.
assist in validating new procedures and methods.
health & safety compliance
adhere to laboratory health and safety regulations.
use personal protective equipment (ppe) at all times.
handle hazardous materials according to guidelines and ensure safe waste disposal.
inventory management
monitor and manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents.
place orders and receive materials as required.
ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals and samples.
collaboration & support
work closely with scientists, researchers, and medical professionals.
assist in research projects, experiments, and data analysis.
support clinical trials or fieldwork when applicable.
compliance & regulatory standards
ensure lab operations comply with regulatory bodies (., iso, glp, clia).
prepare documentation for inspections and accreditation reviews.
training & supervision
train junior technicians or interns on lab procedures and safety protocols.
supervise daily tasks and ensure standards are maintained.
