Hiring Freshers || Kitchen Trainee

Job Summary

We are hiring Kitchen Helpers / Trainees to support our kitchen operations, especially for Italian cuisine and pizza preparation. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn kitchen work, follow hygiene standards, and grow in professional restaurant kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Support & Preparation

Assist chefs in basic food preparation (vegetable cutting, sauces, dough prep, toppings)

Support pizza station with ingredient preparation and cleaning

Help in plating and packing food as per standards

Cleaning & Hygiene

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils

Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)

Assist in dishwashing and waste segregation

Stock Handling & Storage

Assist in receiving and storing raw materials properly

Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method

Report shortages or spoilage to kitchen supervisors

Learning & Skill Development (For Trainees)

Learn Italian cooking basics, pizza dough handling, sauces, and baking process

Understand kitchen SOPs, safety practices, and workflow

Follow instructions and improve speed, accuracy, and consistency

Skills & Requirements

Prior kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory (trainees / freshers welcome)

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen

Ability to follow instructions and kitchen discipline

Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long hours

Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness

Education

Minimum: 8th / 10th pass

Hotel Management certificate or culinary training is a plus (not compulsory)

Working Conditions
