IT Security Specialist

We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join our team in JP Nagar Phase 2. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in IT security and a strong understanding of cybersecurity measures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Security Monitoring:** Continuously monitor the organization's network for any security breaches or incidents, ensuring swift detection and response to potential threats.

- **Risk Assessment:** Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in the system, helping to safeguard sensitive information.

- **Policy Development:** Create and enforce security policies and procedures to establish a secure IT environment, ensuring all team members understand their roles in maintaining security.

- **Incident Response:** Respond to security incidents effectively by investigating the cause, documenting findings, and implementing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

- **Training and Awareness:** Provide training to staff on security best practices to promote a culture of security awareness across the organization.

**Required Skills and Expectations:**

- Proficiency in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software is essential to effectively manage security processes.

- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (such as ISO , GDPR) is critical to ensure the organization meets industry standards.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve security issues quickly and efficiently.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey security concepts clearly to all stakeholders.

- A detail-oriented mindset to ensure no vulnerabilities are overlooked in evaluating security measures.
