Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and seminars.
Develop lesson plans, course materials, and teaching resources.
Use innovative teaching methods and educational technologies to enhance student learning.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, practicals, and examinations.
Maintain attendance records, grades, and academic documentation.
Student Mentoring
Guide and mentor students in academics, research, and career development.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects, internships, and dissertations.
Provide academic counseling and support to improve student performance.
Encourage participation in technical events, seminars, workshops, and competitions.
Research & Publications
Conduct research in the area of specialization.
Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
Apply for research grants, consultancy projects, and funded research programs.
Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in the field.
Curriculum Development
Participate in curriculum design and revision.
Prepare study materials, question papers, and evaluation schemes.
Develop course outcomes and learning objectives in line with university guidelines.
Ensure curriculum compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Academic Administration
Participate in departmental meetings and academic committees.
Assist in admissions, examinations, accreditation, and quality assurance activities.
Maintain academic records and departmental documentation.
Support institutional policies and academic regulations.
Institutional Development
Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, faculty development programs, and guest lectures.
Participate in outreach, extension, and community engagement activities.
Contribute to placement support, industry collaborations, and institutional initiatives.
Assist in developing partnerships with academic and industry organizations.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in the relevant discipline with a strong academic record.
NET/SET qualification is preferred or mandatory where applicable.
