Job Description

job responsibilities includes:-

** study and review of p&id, process flow diagram (pfd) with respect to the instrument types and process description.

** review of process datasheets, plot plan, line list, piping material specifications, equipment layout, vessel datasheets, area classifications etc.

** preparation of instrumentation data sheets for various flow, level, pressure and temperature instruments.

** adept to pressure safety valves and pressure control valves sizing with actuators using api 520 and isa 75 standards respectively.

** preparation and finalization of installation standards: process & pneumatic hook ups.

** preparation of installation hardware mto.

** flow element sizing calculations using iso 5167 standard.

** preparation of functional schematic diagrams.

** instrument/electrical interface details.

** material requisition for various instruments.

** preparation of instrument index / io list.

** preparation of cable & jb schedule.

** cable block diagram and loop wiring diagram from field instruments to dcs/esd marshalling cabinet & system cabinet.

** junction box wiring diagram.

** preparation of level sketches.

** preparation of instrument jb location layout.

** preparation of air connection layout.

** cable tray and trench layout.

** cable tray mto including all fittings and accessories.

** review of quotations, preparation of technical questionnaire, technical bid analysis and purchase requisition etc. for the same.

** involvement in hazop studies and further node wise preparation of hazop worksheets which include the deviations, causes, consequences, existing safeguards and recommendations.

** basic knowledge of dcs and plc systems, system architecture, cabinet / panel ga for dcs, sis and plc systems.
