Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with expertise in SCADA and PLC systems to design,

implement, and maintain industrial automation and control systems. The candidate will work closely with

cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

€¢ Bachelor€™s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

€¢ 0€“3 years of experience in SCADA and PLC system design.

€¢ Proficiency in PLC programming languages: Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block.

€¢ Hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such as Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition, etc.

€¢ Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP.

€¢ Familiarity with instrumentation devices: sensors, transmitters, actuators.

€¢ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

€¢ Develop and configure SCADA systems for industrial automation and monitoring.

€¢ Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley,

Schneider, etc.).

€¢ Create detailed instrumentation diagrams, control logic, and system architecture.

Implementation & Testing

€¢ Commission and integrate SCADA/PLC systems with field instruments and sensors.

€¢ Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting during installation and operation.

€¢ Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Documentation & Support

€¢ Prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.

€¢ Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance teams.

€¢ Maintain records of system modifications and upgrades.

Collaboration

€¢ Work closely with process engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers.

€¢ Liaise with vendors and stakeholders for procurement and integration of automation equipment.

Preferred Skills

€¢ Experience in industrial automation projects (manufacturing, process plants, utilities).

€¢ Knowledge of cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems.

€¢ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

€¢ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
