key responsibilities:

provide round-the-clock nursing care for critically ill patients in icu.

monitor vitals, hemodynamic parameters, and maintain detailed nursing charts.

assist in ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care.

administer iv fluids, infusions, blood products, and medications as prescribed.

assist doctors during intubation, central line insertion, and icu procedures.

perform abg sampling, ecg monitoring, and support diagnostic tests.

ensure infection control practices, sterile techniques, and icu hygiene standards.

provide wound care, catheter care, and pressure sore prevention.

respond to code blue, initiate cpr, and assist in resuscitation measures.

communicate patient condition changes promptly to intensivists/consultants.

maintain accurate documentation of interventions, nursing notes, and medication records.

support patients and families with counseling and emotional care.

ensure continuity of care during handovers and multidisciplinary coordination.

emergency and code blue response.

strong teamwork, communication, and patient empathy.

qualification & experience:

gnm/. nursing with valid registration.

icu/critical care nursing training preferred.
