Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated ICU Nurse to join our healthcare team in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. This role is crucial for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patients closely. You will track vital signs, manage intravenous (IV) lines, and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals is essential to update treatment plans and participate in daily rounds. You will also prepare and maintain medical equipment, ensuring everything is ready and functioning for patient care.

You will educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and care plans, providing support during challenging times. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records, documenting care and progress according to hospital guidelines.

Candidates should possess a degree in nursing and have between 1 to 7 years of experience in an ICU setting. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary to assess patient needs and respond effectively to emergencies. You should have excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Compassion and empathy are essential traits, as you will be caring for severely ill patients. Being detail-oriented and organized will help you manage responsibilities efficiently.
