key responsibilities:
monitor and manage critically ill patients round the clock in icu.
perform clinical assessment, record vitals, and update patient charts regularly.
initiate and manage ventilator settings, oxygen therapy, and airway support.
insert and manage iv lines, central lines, arterial lines, and catheters.
administer medications, fluids, and infusions as per treatment protocols.
respond to code blue and provide cpr, bls, and acls support.
assist intensivists in intubation, extubation, and other icu procedures.
interpret lab reports, abg analysis, ecg, and radiology findings for treatment adjustments.
ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures.
coordinate with intensivists, consultants, and nursing staff for patient care.
provide detailed handover during shift changes for continuity of care.
document all interventions, progress notes, and maintain accurate patient records.
support in pre-operative and post-operative icu patient management.
key skills & competencies:
critical care monitoring & emergency management.
ventilator and airway management.
invasive line insertion & management.
acls/bls certified resuscitation skills.
clinical judgment and quick decision-making.
strong teamwork and communication in icu settings.
qualification & experience:
bams / bhms / mbbs with registration (mandatory).
acls/bls certification preferred.
1 - 3 years�� icu/critical care experience advantageous.
