An HR recruiter manages the full hiring cycle: partnering with managers to define needs, writing job descriptions, sourcing/screening candidates (LinkedIn, boards), conducting interviews (phone/video/in-person), coordinating with teams, making offers, and onboarding new hires, while also using ATS systems and building employer brand to attract top talent efficiently.
Core Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Attraction: Finding candidates through job boards, social media (LinkedIn), referrals, and networking; crafting recruitment emails; creating job postings.
Screening & Selection: Reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone/video screenings, administering assessments, and creating shortlists for hiring managers.
Interview Coordination: Scheduling and managing multi-stage interviews between candidates and the hiring team.
Offer & Onboarding: Extending job offers, negotiating compensation, answering benefits questions, and assisting with new hire onboarding.
Process Management: Maintaining candidate data in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), tracking hiring metrics (time-to-hire), and ensuring compliance.
Strategy & Branding: Developing recruitment strategies, collaborating with managers on staffing needs, and improving employer branding.
