key responsibilities
the hr managers role is built on five strategic pillars:
1. strategic talent acquisition
developing long-term hiring plans and employer branding strategies to attract top-tier talent.
overseeing the recruitment team and refining the onboarding experience to increase new-hire retention.
2. performance & talent development
designing and implementing performance management systems (like okrs or 360-degree feedback).
identifying leadership gaps and managing succession planning to ensure the company has future leaders ready.
3. employee experience & culture
acting as a senior mediator for complex employee relations and grievances.
driving diversity, equity, and inclusion (dei) initiatives and wellness programs to boost the employee net promoter score (enps).
4. compensation & benefits strategy
conducting market salary benchmarking to ensure the company remains competitive.
designing total rewards packages, including health benefits, mental health support, and flexible work policies.
5. compliance & risk management
ensuring 100% adherence to local and federal labor laws.
managing hr budgets and overseeing hris (human resource information systems) to ensure data integrity and security.
