the housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas within the guest house. this includes cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking rooms to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests.
key responsibilities:
�� room cleaning:
o make beds, change linens, and replace towels as needed.
o clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
o vacuum and mop floors.
o dust furniture and fixtures.
o empty trash cans and replace liners.
o restock supplies, such as toiletries and stationery.
�� public area cleaning:
o clean and sanitize public areas, such as living areas.
o sweep and mop floors.
o dust furniture and fixtures.
o empty trash cans and replace liners.
�� laundry:
o collect and sort dirty linens.
o wash, dry, and fold linens according to company standards.
o distribute clean linens to appropriate areas.
�� other duties:
o assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
o follow all safety and security procedures.
