Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Handling
€¢ Greet patients, attendants, and visitors politely and professionally.
€¢ Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately.
€¢ Guide patients regarding departments, doctors, procedures, and services.
€¢ Manage patient flow to minimize waiting time.
Appointment & Coordination
€¢ Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
€¢ Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, and other departments.
€¢ Handle emergency cases promptly by informing the concerned team.
Billing & Documentation
€¢ Generate OPD slips, invoices, and receipts as per hospital policy.
€¢ Collect payments and ensure proper cash/card handling.
€¢ Maintain daily cash reports and hand over to accounts as required.
€¢ Ensure accuracy of patient files, consent forms, and identification documents.
Communication & Records
€¢ Attend incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
€¢ Maintain appointment registers, patient logs, and MIS reports.
€¢ Handle patient queries, complaints, and feedback with empathy.
€¢ Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information (HIPAA/medical ethics compliance).
Experience
€¢ 0€“5 years of experience as a receptionist/front desk executive in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setup.
